I have taken on the challenge of writing a blog a day for the month of February thanks to Sue Guiher of Thrive For Success. Since today is Super Bowl Sunday, I am compelled to write this first blog by using some quotes by Seattle Seahawks Quarterback, Russell Wilson. After reading his responses to questions from reporters, I viewed Wilson from a different lens—this lens showed the person beyond a football uniform. Instead, we find a person with some winning character traits that are champions for all those who have been called to something more.
1. “We all make mistakes or whatever, but we’re football players. We’re able to use our gifts. For me, I’m able to use my gift to glorify God. That’s what it’s about for me.”
The importance of acknowledging our GIFTS and TALENTS is crucial to deciphering our own personal calling in life and then putting those strengths to practice.
